About the Author

Stephanie Mikki Adams

Author Stephanie Mikki Adams is an Inuk woman, a mother, a community leader, who spent much of her life walking through silence, broken repeatedly by grief but each time managing to recover, reclaim the lost pieces of herself, and find her way back home with truths worth sharing. 

​

Adams currently lives in a strong Inuit four generation household in Ottawa, Ontario, with her husband, her daughter, her grandson, and her father-in-law. When she is not writing, she enjoys travelling, cultural spaces, leadership learning, photography, spending time with family, and savouring those quiet moments that reconnect her to herself.
