In the silence I found myself
&
Where the Heart Carries the Light
My poetry begins with a truth I once struggled to speak: I am an Inuk woman, and every part of my story belongs to me. Across these two collections, I write about the people I have loved, the losses I carry, the strength I inherited, and the life I continue to choose. These books are an invitation to feel deeply, to recognize your own story, and to remember that even after profound pain, we can find our way toward light.
In the Silence I Found Myself - A deeply personal collection about grief, identity, and finding my voice. These poems trace my journey from carrying pain in silence to embracing who I am as an Inuk woman.
Where the Heart Carries the Light - A collection about love that endures through loss. Through my poetry I honour the people I carry, the strength of our Inuit culture and the hope we pass to those who come after us.
